Street Jazz Foundation Course

[Designed for students who]
1) Wants to improve their body awareness, weight shifts and balance.
2) Wants to gain jazz fundamental dance foundation and further stylize it to work with pop music.

[Course Outcome]
1) Students will be able to recognise and execute movements that focuses on the 4 main components: Isolation, weight shift, core balance, and performance qualities.
2) Students will be able to execute simple coordination sequence with these components, to music.

Dancehall Foundation Course

1) Wants to Improve their body awareness and dance foundation.
2) Have been curious about Dancehall music and its dance, and wants to understand better.

[Course Outcome]
1) Students will be able to recognise and execute isolation that focuses on the 4 main body areas: Â hips, chest, shoulder and head.
2) Students will be able to execute simple coordination sequence with these isolation.
3) Students will be able to identify and execute some dancehall moves that involves these isolation.
4) Students will be introduced to some dancehall music artistes.

Lyrical Jazz Foundation Course

1) Wants to improve their body awareness, weight shifts and balance.
2) Wants to gain jazz fundamental dance foundation.
3) Have an interest to improve their music and lyrical interpretation with Jazz techniques.

[Course Outcome]
1) Students will be able to recognise and execute movements that focus on the 2 main components: Weight shifts & core balance.
2) Students will be able to execute simple coordination sequence with these components.
3) Students will be able to identify and execute at least some jazz techniques that involves these components.

Hip Hop Foundation Course
