The Dance Instructorship Programme (DIP) is a 32-hours dance pedagogy training course that provides participants with fundamental pedagogical knowledge on teaching frameworks and techniques, to help in class management and creating meaningful learning experiences in dance classes and programmes. Participants will be able to acquire skills, strategies and methods to create an effective teaching environment, while at the same time, expand their choreographic tools from experienced practitioners in the field. 


This course is beneficial for individuals who are becoming a dance instructor, or are already teaching and looking to strengthen their pedagogical techniques.


This course is supported by the National Arts Council (NAC) and will certify participants in fulfilling the pedagogy training criterion for NAC-AEP Arts Education Workshop Programmes.
